LAHORE: A body was found by police on Monday in the dera, or outhouse, of Mian Aslam Iqbal, MPA for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), in Lahore.
The police collected forensic evidence on the spot and filed a complaint under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
The body, which was discovered in advanced stages of decomposition, belonged to a guy who was about 40 years old, according to a first information report (FIR).
Police said the body has been sent for an autopsy and that the dead, who died from gunshot wounds, could not yet be recognized.
However, investigators said that Arshad, a constable with the Central Investigation Agency (CIA) police, had hired Aslam’s outhouse.
