Mandy Damari stated that her daughter Emily, 28, was “still in hell” a year after she was removed from her Kfar Aza residence close to the Gaza border.
Orly Goldschmidt, a spokesperson for Israel’s UK embassy, supported Emily’s request on Monday, telling News that Emily was “still in the dungeon of Hamas.”
She continued: “We are asking for the international support, for the British support, to put pressure on Hamas to release her and the other 100 hostages.”
This occurs on Monday, the first anniversary of the October 7 attacks in Israel, which claimed 1,200 lives and kidnapped 251 more.
According to the health ministry of Hamas, almost 41,000 Palestinians have lost their lives as a result of Israeli attacks in Gaza since that time.
Ms. Damari, who was speaking in public for the first time about her kid, expressed her anxiety that her situation had been “forgotten” at a Hyde Park event on Sunday.
