Matthew Grant, a student at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) from Michigan, disappeared just before Thanksgiving. He left his home without his phone or wallet, worrying everyone. But now, after being missing for a while, he’s been found safe in Pennsylvania.
In a message shared by his family, Matthew thanked everyone who helped search for him. He feels really lucky to have such amazing support from people. He’s doing better now that he’s back with his family. Even though he doesn’t have his phone yet, he’s eager to thank each person personally once he gets it back.
The police confirmed that they found Matthew and he’s back with his family. They worked hard with other agencies and the media to find him.
Matthew’s car was found in Pennsylvania, and while authorities were looking for him near a place called Mount Minsi, he found out and went to a police station to let his family know he was okay.
He was nearly 300 miles away from where he disappeared. The police from the National Park Service helped him reunite with his family when he showed up at the station.
