On social media, Nader, 27, posted a picture of herself curled up on Savchenko’s lap. For the photo, the 41-year-old professional dancer and the model rested their hands on each other’s thighs.
In a statement to Page Six, Savchenko said he believes Nader is “great” and that their chemistry is “amazing”. The two haven’t developed a romantic relationship, though.
The 33rd season of “Dancing with the Stars” premieres on Tuesday, giving fans a chance to witness the relationship between Nader and Savchenko firsthand.
It’s not uncommon for “Dancing with the Stars” pros to date their partners. Numerous romantic partnerships and even a few weddings have resulted from the dancing competition show.
According to licensed marriage and family therapist Rachel Goldberg, LMFT, PMH-C in Studio City, California, the “intensity” of the show and the amount of time they spend together between practices and performances throughout the season create the ideal setting for romantic relationships to grow, she told Fox News Digital.
“First, both individuals share a common goal: to win and outperform the other contestants,” she said. This establishes a preliminary connection and unity. Then, they are near one other, touching each other all the time, and occupying each other’s space, which causes bodily reactions that intensify desire.”
In addition, Goldberg said that the professional dancers and celebrities are in “a high-pressure environment, full of anxiety, where they bond over shared experiences.”
