HOUSTON: In recognition of his exceptional leadership and charitable endeavors, Saeed Sheikh, President of the Houston-Karachi Sister City Association, has been granted the esteemed One World Award 2024.
Sheikh is the first South Asian and Pakistani-American to win this honor.
Susan Young, President of the Sister City Associations, gave him the prize at the yearly One World Concert at Houston’s St. Thomas University.
Diplomats from a number of nations, including Congressman Al Green and well-known businessman Syed Javed Anwar, attended the occasion and congratulated Saeed Sheikh on his honor.
Sheikh was also given a Congressional Certificate of Recognition by Congressman Al Green, who commended his outstanding contributions.
