The former commander of the militant group thanked the government for giving him the chance to become a part of the country and said on Friday that foreign forces are attempting to undermine the peace in an effort to destabilize the nation.
Speaking at a joint news conference in Quetta, Najeebullah was accompanied by CTD DIG Aitzaz Ahmed Goraya, Balochistan Minister Mir Zahoor Buledi, and Chief Minister Meena Majeed Baloch’s adviser.
Two of the most wanted militant leaders, Abdul Rasheed, a former member of the Baloch Liberation Army, and Najeebullah, a former member of the Balochistan Republican Party (BRP), as well as two other young men who had recently joined the militant group, turned themselves in and joined the mainstream during this occasion.
