News has learned that Perlego, a digital library that offers academic titles via a membership service, will be revealing the specifics of its most recent funding round on Tuesday.
According to sources, ITHAKA, the organization that created JSTOR, a well-known digital archive of scholarly publications and books, is also pledging new cash to the business.
Established in 2017, Perlego boasts an increasing number of well-known investors, such as KPN Ventures and Mediahuis, a Belgian publisher that recently made a bid for The Daily Telegraph.
