A former vicar was given a life sentence for raping a six-year-old kid in his church.
After confessing to rape and gross indecency with the child at St. John the Baptist Church in Sedlescombe, East Sussex, 80-year-old Ifor Whittaker received her third term.
He went by Colin Pritchard while he was a priest there.
According to Hove Crown Court, Whittaker baptized the youngster and then mistreated him in the church vestry in the 1990s.
Judge Gary Lucie sentenced him to a discretionary life sentence, stating: “You have been a predatory paedophile for many years.
