In honor of Pakistan’s Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, who is about to retire, a full court reference is scheduled for October 25.
The Supreme Court Registrar’s Office has sent an official circular stating that the reference will occur at 10:30 am.
It is traditional to honor the retiring chief justice for his services to the judiciary and legal community by referring the entire court. Senior judges, attorneys, and government representatives are anticipated to attend as Justice Qazi Faez Isa’s term comes to an end.
The Supreme Court Bar Association president has also been notified about the reference by Registrar Jazila Saleem via letter. A copy of the president’s speech at the reference is what she has requested.
