Over the weekend, a group of about 200 monkeys ran amok in Lopburi, Thailand, forcing police to shut themselves inside their station in a strange event.
Locals have long struggled with the violent and expanding monkey population, which is why officials built specialized facilities to control the animals.
Police captain Somchai Seedee took preventative action on Saturday after a big group of escaped monkeys arrived on the police station, locking doors and windows to keep the animals out and perhaps destroying property or police records.
