A powerful monsoon system is affecting Pakistan, bringing with it significant rainfall in many places and a number of events. A flash flood in Kohat destroyed a house and killed eleven people. Nine people were killed by lightning strikes in Nagarparkar and Chachhro. Three fatalities in Rawalpindi were attributed to roof collapse and electrocution. In Azad Kashmir, one person also lost their life.
