In a sad sequence of events, a man in great financial hardship tried to kill himself, his wife, and his children in Shahdara Town, Lahore.
Poisoned pills were given to Aqeel’s family (wife Shakeela and children Komal, Bisma, Nadia, Hasan, and Hussain) by the impoverished Shahdara resident. Then he reported it to the police.
The cops arrived quickly after the distress call and took the whole family to the hospital. All seven family members were stabilized and are now said to be safe because of the prompt medical attention.
The medical personnel’ prompt response was praised by the police since it was instrumental in saving the lives of the family members.
