According to India Today, a man was detained in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on suspicion of killing his wife with the help of two of his girlfriends after she learned of his extramarital activities.
The two women involved, as well as the accused Pradyumna Kumar Das, have been placed under arrest.
Subhashree was the victim, and she died on October 28. When Das took her to a Bhubaneswar hospital and said she had tried suicide, the scenario became apparent. But when the physicians arrived, they declared her dead. That same day, Das also informed the police about the purported suicide attempt, which led them to file a case of unnatural death and request a post-mortem examination.
Unsettling discoveries were made in the post-mortem report, such as injuries on Subhashree’s hands and neck.
