KARACHI: According to sources who spoke to News on Thursday, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalization Committee has scheduled an Extraordinary Congress meeting for November 19 in Lahore to debate constitutional amendments.
According to a letter given by the federation to several departments, the congress will concentrate on the necessary changes to bring the PFF’s election procedures into compliance with FIFA’s regulations.
While departmental invitations have already been distributed, a PFF spokesperson told News that provinces will be informed once the election process is over and results are formally announced, which should happen early next week.
This meeting’s main focus is updating several laws, especially Articles 38 and 90, which control eligibility and the election process.
