Aaron Boone, the manager of the Yankees, then decided it was time to bring Hamilton and Poteet back to the dugout.The standoff featured four players in total; two Yankees players, Ian Hamilton and Cody Poteet, and one Reds player, Graham Ashcraft, were left standing. Ashcraft’s teammate, Carson Spears, returned to the dugout.
Every player had their cap over their heart while they stood outside of their dugouts. But New York has been struggling lately to win anything, so their brief games and fun were marred.
