In the case of PTI leader and owner of a private hospital Dr. Shahid Sidduqe’s murder in Lahore, there has been a significant development. The deceased’s son, Qayyum, was arrested by the Organized Crime Unit (OCU) Iqbal Town for allegedly helping to arrange his father’s murder by gunmen.
According to police sources, Qayyum Shahid was seized by the OCU team based on “concrete evidence” that he killed his father with the assistance of a gunman.
Taimur, Dr. Shahid’s second son, filed a complaint detailing his murder.
According to the FIR, Dr. Shahid was accompanied by his brother Sajid and son Qayyum. As Dr. Shahid got into his car, the gunman arrived and started shooting.
The FIR states, “Son Qayyum was in front of his car.”
