Following Benjamin Keough’s suicide in 2020, Presley, the lone child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, chose to keep her 27-year-old son at home with her rather than place him in a morgue.
In a biography written by Presley’s daughter Riley Keough, 35, Benjamin was kept on dry ice because there are no rules in California that specify when a body must be disposed of.
“My mother needed plenty of time to say farewell to him, just as she would done with her father,” Daisy Jones & the Six actress Keough said.
She writes, “And I would go and sit in there with him,” according to News’.
“I think having their son there like that would scare the living f*****g p**s out of anybody else,” wrote Presley. not me, though.
The narrative continues by describing how Presley’s daughter and she agreed to have a tattoo that resembled Benjamin’s while he was still in a room at 55 degrees Celsius.
Lisa Marie Presley was standing right next to us in the casitas when she asked this sad man to examine her dead son’s body. Although Keough noted, “I’ve had an extremely absurd life, but this moment is in the top five.”
