News met with writer and former Coronation Street star Deborah McAndrew to talk about the events of September 2, 1967, and her motivation for telling the narrative.
,She described what they observed as a huge red saucer-shaped object that was around the size of a vehicle.
That evening, sometime after 9 p.m., there were eight different reports of sightings of an enigmatic “glowing craft” that flew silently above the heads of locals.
Women, kids, and even a policeman reported seeing it, saying it changed color before descending into a scrubby area.
Then, they claimed, it “took off and was bright white like a car headlight… and then just disappeared” as they began their hunt through the fields for it.
