According to AL.com, during the Jaguars band’s pregame show, East Michigan defensive back Korey Hernandez and South Alabama defensive back Jamarrien Burt seemed to get into a fight. With the Jaguars players facing the band, Hernandez gave Burt a punch to the head. A little while later, the altercation was broken up as more Jaguars players joined in.In the second quarter of the game, Hernandez and Brian Dillard, another defensive back from South Alabama, got tied. After the game, tensions seemed to reach a boiling point. The Eagles head coach said, “I didn’t see things when they happened.”
