Regarding alleged fake anti-rabies vaccinations on the market, the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has released a recall advisory.
The “Shore-Rab” vaccination in question is purportedly made by an Indian business, although it is not listed with DRAP. The batch in question is designated “RO10821.”
DRAP has issued a warning, stating that there is a serious health risk associated with using this unregistered vaccine, particularly for people who have had dog bites.
The DRAP field force, provincial drug authorities, medical experts, and pharmacies have all received the alert.
Raising doubts about the efficacy and safety of this phony vaccine may cause the number of rabies cases to increase.
