PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stated that the nation cannot have two Supreme Courts and has supported the creation of constitutional courts in order to reduce the backlog of litigation.
“One of Parliament’s fundamental responsibilities is legislation. He stated, “There is no harm in exercising such a right,” during his audio link appearance on News Insight with Amir Zia.
Wahab was answering a question about the necessity of constitutional courts. He restated the criticism that the legal system fell short of expectations following the lawyers’ movement under the administration of former President General (retd) Musharraf.
He asserted that the PPP recommended the government consult with all interested parties regarding the proposed legislation from the very beginning in order to get their feedback.
