In a sharply divided session, the Balochistan Assembly on Thursday adopted a resolution proposed by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) calling for the PTI to be banned in response to the recent “violence” in its protest march.
The joint resolution denouncing PTI’s protests and violent activities was presented to the assembly by Minister of Communications and Works Mir Saleem Ahmad Khosa, along with provincial ministers Mir Sadiq Umrani, Mir Asim Kurd Gelo, Raheela Hamid Khan Durrani, Bakht Mohammad Kakar, and parliamentary secretaries.
However, in protest of the abuse of the former ruling party, the opposition organized a walkout.
According to the resolution, which News has a copy of, the PTI has been at odds with the government.
