On April 23, police discovered the 34-year-old lady in the attic-like space inside the Family Fare sign. Her name has not been released.
When asked how she found the location, she described it as “an old safe spot” known only to her family and kept secret from most others.
“Not anymore,” she said after cops discovered her.
She did not explain why she had been residing there for more than a year.
One police officer nicknamed the woman, who was wearing ski goggles on her head and was dressed in black, the “roof ninja.”
