When he is old enough to start working for pay, a seven-year-old coding genius has been invited to join the management team of a Russian software company.
Since he was five years old, Sergey from the Russian city of St. Petersburg has made a name for himself by posting films that demonstrate how to create software.
The information security company Pro32 sent him a written offer of employment for the position of head of corporate training based on the quality of those movies.
According to Russian legislation, Sergey cannot begin working for pay until he is 14 years old.
However, Igor Mandik, the CEO of Pro32, told the BBC World Service that he has discussed ways to work together in the interim with Sergey’s parents.
