Speaking out about her health, Shakira apologized to her fans for having to postpone her performance.
For those who are unaware, the 48-year-old singer began her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Tuesday, February 11.
Following her performance in Brazil, she had engagements in Peru on Sunday and Monday, February 16 and 17, but she had to postpone them due to stomach issues.
“I am sorry to inform you all that last night I had to go to the ER for an abdominal issue and am currently hospitalized,” Shakira wrote on her Instagram Stories to provide her fans with an update on her health.
