LIVERPOOL: A teenager entered a guilty plea on Monday for the stabbing deaths of three young girls that occurred last year and caused the bloodiest riots in ten years in the United Kingdom.
Axel Rudakubana, 18, confessed to killing the three girls at a dance lesson with a Taylor Swift theme in Southport, northwest England, last year on the day that his trial was about to begin.
More than a dozen towns and cities in England and Northern Ireland, including Southport and Liverpool, saw rioting and disturbances as a result of the stabbings, which sent shockwaves across the United Kingdom.
Far-right agitators were accused by authorities of inciting violence by disseminating false information that the alleged attacker was an asylum seeker.
