Dr. Zakir Naik, an Islamic scholar, will speak on Saturday (today) at the Polo Ground in Bagh-e-Jinnah, Karachi. The traffic police have released a traffic strategy ahead of the event to help with civilian movement.
Sources claim that the traffic police have made special preparations for Dr. Naik’s arrival in Karachi. The President House Road from Fawara Chowk to Khajoor Chowk will be blocked to traffic throughout the event.
Ziauddin Ahmed Road and PIDC Chowk would be the new routes for traffic arriving from Shaheen Complex. Through MR Kiyani Chowk, vehicles coming from Shaheen Complex can enter Zainab Market. From Fawara Chowk to Shahrah-e-Faisal, traffic from Zainab Market will be permitted, and there will be no parking zones on both sides from Sindh Club Chowk to Metropol and Fawara Chowk.
