In the summer of 2022, identical people with the same claims to support Ukraine’s war against Russia were strewn throughout the main thoroughfare of Khreshchatyk Street in Kyiv.
“Everyone is drawn to conflict,” I thought.
We now know that among them was Ryan Routh, the person who is suspected of being involved in Sunday’s alleged attempt on Donald Trump’s life in the US.
Aid worker Chris Lutz says of Routh, “he was an omnipresent dude” in the Ukrainian capital. Lutz encountered Routh multiple times.
He says, “I wouldn’t call him crazy.” “He was making every effort to assist Ukraine, but things were becoming out of control.
Authorities from Ukraine have made a strong effort to disassociate themselves from the man who is allegedly plotting to kill Donald Trump at the former president’s golf course in Florida.
The 58-year-old Routh had made numerous unsuccessful attempts to enlist foreign soldiers in the Ukrainian military.
A spokesman for the legion stated, “He has never served in Ukraine’s International Legion and has no relation to the unit.”
According to one Ukrainian soldier, the American was in constant communication with the legion, bringing up ideas that were deemed “nonsensical” and “delusional.”
In addition, the suspect acknowledged that he had been rejected down before, citing his youth and lack of combat experience as the reasons.
Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, expressed his satisfaction with Donald Trump in an online post following the events that transpired in the US over the weekend.
