The 15-year-old girl in Adelaide Drive, Sittingbourne, Kent, had injuries consistent with a knife wound when emergency services were called to assist her at 3:55 p.m. on Friday.
Officers stated on Saturday that the girl remained in the hospital in a stable condition after being sent to a hospital in London for treatment.
Authorities stated on Sunday that a 12-year-old child had been charged with both possessing an offensive weapon and attempting to murder.
The kid is scheduled to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday; his name is withheld for legal reasons.
