A man entered a no contest plea to child abuse charges after he was accused of selling sex tapes of a 16-year-old Florida girl on the adults-only website OnlyFans.
Court filings state that Ethan Diaz, 22, of New Jersey, entered into a plea deal in a Florida court in September and was given a sentence of five years in jail and five years of supervised probation. He received credit for over a year of service. During his probation, Diaz was prohibited from using OnlyFans and from communicating with the victim.
In July, Reuters covered Diaz’s case as part of an investigation that found scores of complaints in U.S. police and court records about the appearance of child sexual abuse content on OnlyFans. More than 200 obscene videos were referenced in the complaints.
