Outrage and an investigation were sparked after a young child was killed during a police raid in Toba Tek Singh. According to the police, the event happened while they were on a raid to capture suspects.
But according to the girl’s family, the police behaved harshly, and when the raid occurred, they were celebrating a wedding at their house.
The girl’s body was sent to a nearby hospital after the event. The investigation is being led by DPO Ibadat Nisar, who arrived on the spot.
A case has been filed against the driver, the SHO, the ASI, and a policeman for their roles. Authorities say the remaining suspects will be captured soon after two have been nabbed.
