Former school principal Ahmed Ezzedine and three generations of his family, who all resided in the three-story structure in the town of Teffahta, were among the deceased, Suad Hammoud told the news.
She stated that Sheikh Abdo Abo Rayya, the village’s imam, and two bystanders were slain when they were walking close to the house at the time of the attack.
Although it has stated time and time again that it takes precautions to prevent injury to civilians, the Israeli military has not yet responded to the incident.
Over the last four weeks, it has conducted thousands of airstrikes throughout Lebanon.
She added that Mr. Ezzedine’s wife, sister, daughters, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren were also present at the residence.
The ground floor was occupied by Mr. Ezzedine, while the higher stories were occupied by his children and their families. However, it is thought that when the house was struck, everyone was on the ground floor.
Shortly after, a social media video revealed a massive smoke plume rising from the Teffahta hillside where the house was situated.
