ISLAMABAD Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Sheikh Waqas Akram on Tuesday stated there has been no interaction between his party and the government, led by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Akram called the media narrative about the PTI reaching out to the government “fake” and rejected it.
“The PTI and the government have not established touch and cannot do so. As his party prepares to stage countrywide protests against the government on November 24, he declared, “The fake news is an attempt to hurt the protest.”
According to The News, a high-level communication has been set up between the PTI and a significant government figure to discuss a potential breakthrough.
