Royal expert and vocal opponent of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Angela Levin, has voiced her opinions over reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex upset Queen Elizabeth by calling their daughter Lilibet.
A new book named Charles III: New King, New Court. Robert Hardman’s Inside Story asserts that the Queen disapproved of the choice and that she was upset with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for claiming to have her approval for naming their daughter Lilibet.
In June 2021, Meghan and Harry welcomed their daughter Lilibet, naming her after a close friend of the Royal Family’s nickname for the late Queen.
“Harry’s lie about the late Queen’s blessing to use her nickname Lilibet will scare him forever,” tweeted Angela Levin in response to these assertions.
“Especially as he relied on the senior Royals staying quiet. It’s shocking that he didn’t oppose what he knew was right.
Angela went on to say, “Of course the Queen was furious that Harry and Meghan used the name Lilibet,” sharing the Daily Mail article. They didn’t talk about it either. Another instance of something they say that defies belief.
