A research by the Media Research Center claims that Facebook has “interfered” in US elections at least 39 times since 2008.
Researchers at MRC Free Speech America discovered last month that during the previous 16 years, Google had “interfered” 41 times in US elections. The team then turned their attention to Facebook and came to the conclusion that, despite Mark Zuckerberg’s seeming belief in free expression, his company’s activities contradict this.
Similar to Google, Facebook has a long history of meddling in American elections. However, comparing the two businesses isn’t entirely fair. I think Mark Zuckerberg is partially pro-free speech. It is evident that Google management does not. But regardless of Mr. Zuckerberg’s opinions, the guidelines and procedures followed by his business.
