Amanda Seyfried recently talked about her tryout for the 2024 blockbuster movie Wicked.
When she tried out for the part of Glinda, which she lost to Ariana Grande, the Mean Girls star disclosed that she was given the chance to perform beside Cynthia Erivo.
In the past, Grande and Erivo have acknowledged that they tried out for auditions with other actresses other than one another, but they have never disclosed which one they were matched with.
During auditions, Seyfried now disclosed that she was one of Erivo’s partners.
As she stated when she spoke on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, “I do, again, think everything happens for a reason.”
