According to Indian media, a religious scholar who helped apprehend Indian agent Kulbhushan Jadhav was shot and killed on Friday in Turbat, Balochistan.
Armed attackers attacked the scholar as he was exiting a mosque following the night prayer, according to police sources that The News quoted.
According to authorities, “Mufti Shah Mir was critically wounded when armed men on motorcycles opened fire on him.” He was taken right away to Turbat Hospital, where he passed away.
Mir was close to a political and religious group. He had already survived two attempts on his life. But this time, the assault claimed his life.
