Rana Sanaullah, the prime minister’s political and public affairs advisor, alluded to the possibility of referring two senior apex court judges “for their conduct in certain matters” on Tuesday.
“Their [two SC judges] general attitude is to write letters on every issue…the letters make headlines first and later reach the addressee,” the PML-N leader stated Tuesday in an interview with a private news channel.
His comments were made the day after the judicial commission authorized the appointment of six new justices to the supreme court, despite a boycott by two senior SC judges and PTI MPs. Six judges were nominated, including the chief justices of all high courts save the Lahore High Court (LHC).
