The death of Rana Ammar, a student at Punjab University studying gender studies, has been determined to be a homicide, resolving a mystery that was once believed to have involved motorcycle riders.
Dilawar, Umar’s companion, has been brought into prison by police to be questioned.
Ammar, Dilawar, and another student, Huzaifa, were in a car when the incident occurred, according to police sources. Umar was in the front passenger seat, Dilawar was behind the wheel, and Huzaifa was in the back, where he was allegedly carrying a gun.
According to police findings, Ammar was shot inside the car and passed away at the hospital. Dilawar brought Umar to the hospital after the shooting, while Huzaifa left the scene.
