The United States’ decision to disburse cash for the F-16 program has been hailed by Pakistan, which says the action is a reflection of the two nations’ long-standing bilateral relationship.
Concerns regarding advanced weapons left in Afghanistan were also voiced by the Foreign Office (FO), which warned that they are being utilized against Pakistan.
FO spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan described the US decision to release $397 million for the F-16 program as a welcome step during a weekly press conference.
