ISLAMABAD: In anticipation of the November 24 “do-or-die” protest in the federal capital, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has notified Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, the party’s chairman, that the city cannot host any protests, gatherings, or sit-ins due to an order from the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
On Saturday, the minister spoke with Gohar over the phone and went into great depth on the current political climate following the PTI’s call for a protest tomorrow (Sunday).
The security czar informed the PTI chairman, “We cannot permit any rally, gathering, or sit-in; we are required to comply with the IHC’s directives.”
