ISLAMABAD: Natalie Baker, the acting US Ambassador to Pakistan and Charge d’Affaires, paid Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb a visit on Friday and met with him. Aurangzeb is the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue.
According to a press release from the finance ministry, the meeting’s main topics were areas of shared interest, such as ways to strengthen economic cooperation and boost US investment in Pakistan’s priority sectors.
In accordance with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s goal for structural changes and export-led economic growth, the finance minister briefed Baker on the government’s macroeconomic reform program during the conversation.
