It added in a statement provided to the news that its deputies were called to Malibu, California, for a “family disturbance” event that occurred just after midnight.
According to the department, one of the women claimed that “her husband pushed her and locked her out of their residence.”.
Madsen, who acted in the Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill movies directed by Quentin Tarantino, was eventually freed from jail after posting a $20,000 (£15,400) bond. The 66-year-old has not addressed the matter in public.
The sheriff’s department stated, “The investigation is ongoing and will be forwarded to the Van Nuys Superior Court House for filing.”

In a statement to the Variety website, a spokesman for Madsen stated, “We hope that this disagreement between Michael and his wife resolves positively for them both.”
After 28 years of marriage, Michael and DeAnna Madsen are parents.
