Adel Khozam, an Emirati poet and writer who was a pioneer of literary modernism in the Arabian Gulf and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has started a global poetic epic called Manseerah in a unique global poetic endeavor.
A literary meditation on what can be called the “human odyssey” was provided by the collaborative work, which was co-authored by 86 poets from more than 50 nations, including Pakistan.
In the midst of the challenges of the twenty-first century, the project, which is the first of its sort and scale in the history of global poetry, seeks to create a worldwide poetic text that embodies the modern human experience — its worries, hopes, and desires.
With its new location in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, Dar Altakween has issued the Arabic edition.
