Numerous people have posted the video of Adele addressing a homophobic heckler on social media.
At the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Saturday night during her Weekends With Adele residency, the celebrated performer angrily confronted a fan who yelled, “Pride sucks.”
“Did you come to my f***ing show and say that Pride sucks?” the Hello singer shot back.
“Are you really that dumb? Please stop being so f***ing absurd.”
The Tottenham player went on, “Shut up, okay? If you have nothing nice to say.”
Pride month, which takes place in June, honors LGBTQ communities worldwide.
The Grammy winner has frequently shown her support for LGBTQ individuals and Pride.
She dedicated a show in Belgium to the individuals in the city and at the club on the night of the attack following the shooting that left 49 people dead at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, in 2016. She said, “The LGBTQ community, they’re like my soul mates since I was really young, so I’m very moved by it.”
She added that the original plan for her song Set Fire To The Rain was to create a “gay anthem”.
Adele declared earlier this year that she would be performing in Europe for the first time since 2016.
August is her four-night reservation in Germany at Munich’s 80,000-seat Messe exposition center, which she described as “a bit random”.
