The 36-year-old stated to her admirers that she “needs a rest” and that she was eager to “live my new life I’ve been building”.
The London-born celebrity, who had declared she would take a “big break” from music following her most recent tour, revealed her engagement during a performance in Munich earlier this month.
She has performed on a weekend engagement at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum for the previous two years, and she recently finished a ten-date run of gigs at Munich’s 80,000-seat Messe exhibition center.
“I would like to thank you so much for coming to my show this evening, I would like everyone who has come to any one of my shows ever (to) thank you so much for coming,” she said to the crowd during her final performance on Saturday.
I’ve been performing for over three years now, which is the longest I’ve ever done and most likely the longest I will ever do. I’m not the most at ease, but I am really excellent at it.
