ISLAMABAD: Reports that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s cell or barrack has been changed have been refuted by a jailer at the Adiala prison, according to The News.
In an exclusive interview, Adiala Jail Superintendent Ghafoor Anjum informed the publication that Khan has not been moved to a different cell or barrack but has remained in his current location.
The former prime minister has been detained in the facility for more than a year following his apprehension in connection with gifts from the state.
The jailer stated that the PTI founder never complained about the comforts or conveniences of the jail, and that all facilities were provided to him as before.
