For the previous few months, the prime minister has stated that the first flights carrying asylum seekers out of the country will take place in July.
However, it is now unclear if the flights would even take off after a general election was scheduled for July 4.
According to him, “the first flights will go in July,” the news said.
He concluded by saying: “If I’m re-elected as prime minister on July 5, these flights will go, we will get our Rwanda scheme up and running.”
