Actor and fellow writer Stephen Graham has received praise from Jack Thorne, co-creator of the Netflix crime drama Adolescence.
In an interview with Stephen and broadcaster Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2, Jack gave his colleague author credit for the Netflix series’ compelling idea.
The narrative of Adolescence centers on Jamie, a 13-year-old kid who is arrested for killing a classmate. Stephen, who co-wrote the program with Jack, portrays Jamie’s father, Eddie Miller.
Jack responded, “I thought it was an extraordinary thing to look at, and I thought it was a very important thing to look at.”
“What if we wrote it together? That was my first thought. And would you be willing to dress differently?
