The event happened at around 1pm on May 2, and Thames Valley Police reported that the five-month-old was brought to the hospital in a severe condition.
The 27-year-old Witham, Essex, resident was arrested by the force on Friday on suspicion of purposefully harming a child by ignoring them.
She has been granted bail until July 26 and investigators have stated that they are not searching for any other individuals related to the events of Thursday. According to police, the infant is still in the hospital.
Detective Constable Zoe Eele, the force’s police child abuse investigation unit’s investigating officer, stated: “We are looking into a disturbing incident that happened earlier this week at Legoland Windsor involving a very young kid.
“First and foremost, we are praying for the family of the young man who had a heart attack and is now very ill in the hospital. We are doing everything in our power to help them during this incredibly trying time.
